Transportation Funding – Opportunities and Obstacles in the 2015 Legislative Session

Please join the Women’s Environmental Network, MacBike and MacPIRG for a policymaker panel discussion on transportation funding during the 2015 legislative session from 6 – 8 pm, on Wednesday, November 19 at Macalester College. This is an opportunity to learn about and engage with others on transit, bikes, pedestrian, road or highway funding in the 2015 Legislative Session.

Panelists include:
MNDOT Commissioner Charles Zelle
State Representative Connie Bernardy
Shawntera Hardy of Fresh Energy
Bethany Winkels of Transit for Livable Communities

Prior to the event, from 5-6 pm, the Women’s Environmental Network will host a dinner and social meet and greet with our panelists.

The 7-8 pm panel discussion is FREE and OPEN to the public.  Each panelist will share their transportation funding hopes and fears for the next legislative session, followed by a one-hour audience question and answer session.  Register on the event website.
