The State of Minnesota proclaims this June as Great Outdoors Month, signed by Governor Mark Dayton and Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.
From the proclamation:
1. Minnesotans enjoy the natural environment of the state through outdoor recreational
activities that provide proven health benefits, including biking, swimming, hiking,
hunting, boating, camping, and fishing
2. Great Outdoors Month is a time to celebrate the partnerships between government agencies, recreation and tourism industries, volunteers and enthusiasts that make outdoor recreational opportunities possible FOR ALL [my emphasis] Minnesotans to enjoy.
